China Industrial Association of Power Sources (CIAPS) was founded in December 1989, is the first grade professional battery association in China. It has more than 500 members and has ten branches, including alkaline battery and new type chemical power sources branch, lead acid storage battery branch, lithium battery branch, dry cell branch, solar energy photovoltaic branch, accessory and equipment for battery branch, power bank branch, energy storage battery applications branch, power battery application branch and battery separator branch.

European Battery Alliance (EBA)
EBA250 is the industrial development programme of the European Battery Alliance launched in October 2017. Managed by EIT InnoEnergy, EBA250 is a unique platform for key stakeholders throughout the entire battery value chain – from mining to recycling - with the common objective to build a strong and competitive European battery industry and capture a growing market worth 250B€ per year from 2025. EBA250 is a project-driven community which brings together the European Commission, the European Investment Bank and now more than 600 industrial, innovation, academia and financial stakeholders.

ees Europe is the continent’s largest and most international exhibition for batteries and energy storage systems. The Battery LabFactory Braunschweig (BLB)
The Battery LabFactory Braunschweig (BLB) stands for an open research infrastructure to investigate and develop electrochemical storage devices from laboratory to pilot plant scale, especially lithium-ion-, lithium-sulfur- and solid-state-batteries. The research spectrum covers the entire value cycle, from material synthesis over electrode and cell production up to recycling – a Closed-Loop Production. Currently, about 150 employees (researchers and technicians), 16 members (TU Braunschweig, TU Clausthal, Leibniz Universität Hannover, Fraunhofer IST and Physikalisch-Technische Bundesanstalt), the Head Office and about 100 students are involved in BLB activities.

The chair of Production Engineering of E-Mobility Components (PEM) of RWTH Aachen University researches and develops pioneering products and production innovations that enable cost-effective and sustainable manufacturing of electrified drive trains and their individual components. Through a multitude of national and international industry projects with companies throughout the entire value chain as well as leading positions in notable research projects PEM is able to offer a broad range of expertise.
